How does MTA eTix work?
MTA eTix is the official app of Metro-North Railroad and Long Island Rail Road that provides customers with the ability to purchase and activate their tickets securely and easily on their phones. Customers will not need to use a physical card to activate their ticket, and there is no additional cost to do so.
Aside from in-app tickets, this platform also helps you plan your trips and oversee how packed the trains are, access seat availability, access alerts and chats, and then get the opportunity to be given a comprehensive list of station information. You can share your trip details with your family and friends.
